The debate between traditional medicine and natural medicine is never ending. The physicians who practice traditional medicine claims that the natural medicine do not have any scientific proof for curing diseases. Whereas, physicians who practice natural medicine climb that the conventional medicine uses too much of chemicals in the drug, which will affect our health later.
It was in 2002 that Dr. Joe Mercola reviewed 33 clinical trials by researchers at Cochrane Collaboration and reported that gingko biloba along with various dietary supplements can aid in improving memory among those who suffered from dementia.
Another independent research conducted in Austria reviewed 10 randomized controlled double blind clinical trials and stated that the gingko biloba extract was as effective, if not more, than the regular medicines prescribed by conventional allopathic physicians.
It is not very sure that the results of pittsburg was proving that the other results were fault or it has some methodology flaws. Nobody knows this.

Whether it is in a nursing home or at home, there are specific tasks and memory exercises that should be part of the daily routine to ensure that the progression of this condition can be slowed down. These include learning the art of using memory aids, computerized recalling devices and mnemonics.
While there are some options available in conventional medicine, it is best to adopt a holistic approach so that the treatment can carry on without the burden of side effects and a debilitating lifestyle.
